About.

I'm an experienced technology specialist focused on solving complex problems in large-scale corporate environments. My career has been driven by one goal: lower downtime and reduce issues by finding the best solutions and tools to ensure the business runs more efficiently.
Over 20+ years I've worked my way from desktop support at Pfizer and Exchange migrations at BMW Financial to leading infrastructure solution design at Johnson & Johnson and now architecting internal cloud platforms at JPMorgan Chase. Along the way I've built data centers from scratch, migrated thousands of VMs, deployed private clouds at global scale, and designed the automation that holds it all together.
My deepest expertise is in VMware (vSphere, VCF, NSX-T, vSAN), but I work across the full stack — Nutanix, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, GCP, Cisco/Arista networking, and enterprise storage (HPE Primera, Dell PowerFlex). I've led PCI/HIPAA compliance efforts, vendor evaluations, and the kind of unglamorous but critical work that keeps enterprise infrastructure running.
This blog is where I write about the real, practical side of infrastructure — not the vendor slide deck version. Expect honest takes on migrations, platform comparisons, and the day-to-day decisions that don't make it into whitepapers.
